Souleymane Yameogo is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Glasgow with a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in South Korea. His academic expertise spans political science, public policy, and teaching methodologies, with a focus on comparative politics, political behavior, and institutional analysis.
He has taught a range of postgraduate courses, including Game Theory, Quantitative Methods, and Advanced Econometrics, at both the Master’s and PhD levels. Souleymane’s research, which utilizes empirical methods such as randomized controlled trials and spatial-temporal difference-in-differences, examines democratic resilience and policy responses in fragile contexts, particularly across more than 40 African countries. His approach to teaching emphasizes real-world applications of political science theory, fostering a dynamic classroom environment while promoting critical engagement with global governance challenges.
